Hampton's resource holdings provide some of the raw material for our manufacturing centers, which produce commodity lumber, studs and metric lumber. We manage approximately 100,000 acres (over 40,500 hectares) of timberland in Washington and Oregon and approximately 120,000 hectares (296,526 acres) of publicly owned forest land in British Columbia
Our eight mills provide quality dimensional and stud lumber to our customers. Douglas Fir, Hem-Fir and Spruce are our primary species. The production capacity of our mills makes Hampton one of the nation’s largest forest products companies. Our annual softwood lumber production capacity in currently in excess of 2 billion feet of lumber.
Hampton Lumber Sales markets lumber and panel products in domestic and world markets. Our Sales division annually wholesales over 3 billion board feet of lumber and panel products to over 1,000 customers
The three branches of our transportation department – truck, rail, and reload provide strategic support for shipments going to our customers nation-wide. We have a private fleet of rail-cars that carry our products to major distribution centers. Strategically placed reload centers dispatch trucks to and from our sites to customers in each serving area.
