Cylvia Hayes, First Lady of Oregon presented the Governor’s Award for Strategic Energy Management Practices on January 18, 2012.
Bret Griffin, Willamina Division Plant Manager, accepted the award. The company worked with Energy Trust of Oregon's Industrial Energy Improvment Initiative. The resulting energy savings was resulted in over 11% electrical energy intensity improvement.
On December 7, 2011 Hampton Affiliates was recognized as one of Oregon’s Most Admired Companies by Oregon State University’s, College of Business.

John Hampton (1926-2006) was a man whose energy and passion for the lumber industry and its people shaped the culture at Hampton Affiliates.
